Let’s be honest. Love at first site does not exist. In order to love someone, you must first enter into a relationship with them and get to know them. Only after knowing someone can you truly love them. In his letter to the Philippians (3:8), Paul makes it clear that the most important thing to him was to know Christ. In chapter 2, John relates events that reveal the character of Jesus’ action in Galilee and Jerusalem. In Galilee He found faith, but in Jerusalem he found rejection. However, he must travel to Jerusalem, since salvation comes from Israel. The capital of Israel remains the place where God reveals His grace.
